Nice post summarising browser version from CRM 2011 from Preact blog

The Microsoft Dynamics CRM December 2012 update introduces cross web browser support.

So which browsers will be supported?

Starting with Internet Explorer, Dynamics CRM will work with:

  • Internet Explorer 7
  • Internet Explorer 8
  • Internet Explorer 9
  • Internet Explorer 10 for the Desktop
  • A Windows 8 tablet interface will arrive in Q2-2013

For Firefox:

Firefox Version 10 and higher is supported for access to the Dynamics CRM web client.

Full support is available with Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista and XP operating systems.

Mac systems will also be fully supported with Firefox 10+ for Mac OS-X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), Mac OS-X 10.7 (Lion), Mac OS-X 10.8 (Mountain Lion).

For Chrome:

Version 18+ of Chrome will be fully supported with Dynamics CRM.
This applies to Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista and XP operating systems.

For other operating systems including Mac users will be redirected to the slimmed down Mobile Express for CRM.

For Safari:

Mac OS-X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), Mac OS-X 10.7 (Lion) and Mac OS-X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) will be fully supported with Dynamics CRM.

iPad users will also have access to Dynamics CRM through a dedicated client interface.

Scheduled for release early in 2013 this will feature the new Flow User Interface for leads, opportunities, contacts and accounts. As these will initially be the only
CRM processes available in the Flow UI other tasks will need to be launched in CRM Mobile Express.
